Miss & Mrs

Miss & Mrs - Abundant Life Baptist Church

I'm just so excited about a new program beginning at ALBC in Lee's Summit, MO! Erika Opperman is heading up this new program and she has done a marvelous job!

It is for women of all ages! Like a Girl's Night Out! I'm beyond thrilled to be a part of it! I cannot wait to fellowship and learn with fellow ladies and worship our Lord too!

I was so excited that I wanted to make a logo for it! Something that is feminine and trendy but still elegant.

L is for Levi

I just got back from Erin's baby shower ! It was adorable! Her mom, Joann and sister, Megan are the best hostesses ever. They did such a great job with the little jungle theme and the food was delicious! Everything about this shower was just adorable!
I got to be a part of the shower just a little by designing the invites, thank you cards, and a coffee mug gift. Super fun project! Check out the invites below!

For Erin's gift I was really inspired by the song "Baby of Mine".  I hear it over and over again during naptime in my preschool room and it is such a sweet song. I later found out it is from the Disney movie, Dumbo. Sooooo I took my favorite verse of the song and made a print for her nursery. I think I will sell these on Etsy too. I will change colors and letter block according to what the customer wants. I know I would want this for my future nursery.....(sigh) maybe someday. :)

Good Golly, Miss Molly is Getting Married!

So as my title states, Miss Molly is getting married too! Let me tell you, everyone I know is getting married! I love being a part of these special times in my friends' lives.

My friend, Rylee (ryleegrover.blogspot.com) is planning the party, which will be fantabulous because Rylee is an awesome party planner. Anyways, I have been waiting for these invites to show up in my mailbox so I can blog about them! I love the way these turned out.

So when I got started on these I stalked Molly's blog to get some inspiration. This design is completely inspired by her post about her Wedding Party Proposal(developingapattern.com/2012/03/08/wedding-party-proposal) and her engagement picture.

I absolutely love the color scheme and small details. In my head it totally sums up Molly's personality. It is vintagey-chic and fun, just like her. Haha. Rylee did a nice touch adding the mixer stamp to the envelope and the recipe cards! We make a killer team. Go us! :)

Olivia + Mitch Wedding

My good friend Olivia just recently got engaged! Yay Olivia! But here's the kicker, they decided to get married in 2 1/2 months! We met up at Panera and chatted about life, love, and invites. She told me she doesn't want her invites to look like the cookie-cutter "Wal-Mart" invites. She wanted them fun and creative. The funny part was she didn't have a clue what she wanted! :)

Sooooo.... I had her look through all the things I pinned to my Print & Design board on pinterest. There I just let her talk out loud and critique everything on that board. I made a list. Olivia likes and Olivia dislikes. This was actually a very good technique. I was actually surprised how much this helped me invision her future invites (to be finished in 1 week!)

Anyways after getting a random day off at the preschool I work at during the day, we were able to send these to the printer in 1 week. Go us! Check out the final product!

Long time, no post!

Sorry. No excuse, just neglecting my blogging duties. Well I have finished Katlyn and Matt's save-the-dates (below) and I am now working on their invites. She says everyone loves them and I have one hanging on my fridge (also below).

I really had a lot of fun designing these. She knew what she wanted but she wasn't set on one idea. That means I get to play a little bit! And hey as long as you make the bride happy, everyone is happy. I love Miss Katlyn and I am so excited for her! I hope you all enjoy.

Fred & Lucy

Welcome to Fred & Lucy! We are a creative design firm specializing in invitations, annoucements, cards, etc. My name is Stephanie Schlemper and I am the owner.
Cunningham + Schlemper Wedding

Me and the Girls in front of the barn
I recently got married to the love of my life, Dan. That is how this whole thing got started. Being a graphic designer, I wanted to design everything about my wedding. The invitations, programs, seating arrangements, save the dates, thank you cards, etc... you get the picture. My goal was to do something original for my theme, not like your everyday heart in the corner, swirly letters, blah blah, same ol' stuff. Well let's just say, they were a hit.

Dan and Stephanie - Cowboy meets Princess

So we lived happily ever after. Honeymoon, house, job, then puppies.  Dan got a manly golden retriever and I got a little girly pocket beagle. They are so fun, loyal, and goofy. To newlyweds, puppies are like children. Well, we had twins, one boy and one girl. Meet Fred and Lucy!

"Why did you name your design company after your puppies? That seems weird." Asked my sister, Sarah (above barn photo, 2nd from left). "Well because it tells a story. A story of love, new beginnings, happily-ever-afters, and well they are just so cute - why wouldn't you name it after them?"
This may be a silly story, but it's my story. My puppies, husband, family, friends, song lyrics, bible verses, and this beautiful world are just some of the things that inspire me. So again, welcome to Fred & Lucy! I can't wait to start telling your story.
